Trinity’s Living-Learning Community model integrates faith, learning, and service, not only throughout the curriculum, but through the campus and into the community.
The World as a Classroom
The Living-Learning approach assumes every square foot of the campus is a learning laboratory - including classrooms, faculty offices, common areas, and student apartments.
Learning on Location
Trinity’s location in the greater Seattle area provides a perfect opportunity to take college learning off-campus, to include the unique urban context, outdoor environmental learning opportunities, and recreation.
Spiritual Leadership
In the Living-Learning Community, chapel leadership becomes a course that prepares students to become future leaders in community worship settings.
Management Experience
Students serve as managers of the college’s bookstore, working closely with Professor Stuart Webber to apply their learning in accounting, marketing, and management.
Acorn Learning Center
Our on-site child care center serves as a “laboratory” for Early Childhood Education majors to apply their classroom learning in a real-world setting by interacting with infants and toddlers.
